  • Our area

Our specialist cleaning services are available across Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Gloucestershire, Warwickshire, Berkshire, Wiltshire and all surrounding areas. We regularly travel 2 hours or more to provide our services when you need them most. From our base in Oxfordshire we provide an average emergency response to biohazards and extreme cleaning of 90 minutes. Our planned-services are usually delivered within 1 to 3 days which allows for additional planning (non-emergency cleaning tasks).

  • Emergency cleaning

Whatever the circumstance, our emergency cleaning services are accessible 24 hours a day. This includes trauma cleaning, crime scene cleaning, biohazard cleaning, after death cleaning, suicide cleaning, sudden death and illness cleaning, violent crime cleaning and all other extremes of cleaning where a conventional cleaning service would not be able to provide a specialist service. With an average response time of 90 minutes (within achievable distances from our base in Oxfordshire) we can ensure a rapid response to your needs.

  • Extreme cleaning

No matter the extreme, our team of specialist cleaning technicians are fully prepared, experienced and insured to carry out all of your extreme cleaning needs. We do not provide regular domestic cleaning service, we solely specialise in providing biohazard cleaning, extreme cleaning and hazardous cleaning. This allows us to excel in our work and focus our time and attention on the complicated task in hand. To view more of the services we provide click here

How we work:

  • This is comprised of information provided to us by telephone call or email. We may request initial photographs so that we can gain an idea of the work and resources required, but will not request these if obtaining them would be potentially detrimental to you. Obviously it is not always easy to gain every detail via a call or pictures, so a secondary assessment takes place when we arrive.

  • This occurs upon arrival at the address.

    • We carry out a risk assessment upon arrival: Regardless of how a location has been explained to us before arriving, we always reassess to ensure our safety and yours.

    • We complete a method statement: This details exactly how we are going to carry out a task, our approach, equipment we may require, a review of workforce requirements and a review of the risk assessment. This details the steps that need to be taken to safely carry out the work to the highest of standards. During the method statement we detail the type of equipment we might be using, the PPE (personal protective equipment) that we require and the processes involved in carrying out the work. This will also include a COSHH Assessment to establish how we will use cleaning materials, hazard and odour elimination chemicals and their impact on the location.

    • We provide a quote or estimate: This will take into account the risk assessment and method statement, with considerations for the number of employees required, the level of PPE, and the extent of the work at hand, including how long it is likely to take.

    • We plan for and create working ‘zones’: This ensures we establish a clean zone where equipment is kept, while close to hand. A buffer zone where we are able to change into hazardous area PPE as required and a control zone, the actual area that is affected.

    • We complete the job(s) required: Our employees will complete the work to the highest standard, whilst following safe techniques as required by law and Empire Environmental. We will regularly re-assess the risk level of the area, and remain open-minded to new hazards that may present themselves.

      • When we think the work is complete, we vacate the area for a short time, before returning for final checks.

    • We remove waste and complete waste documentation: As registered and approved upper-tier waste carriers, we must ensure we comply with legislation and guidance to ensure the safe handling of hazardous and obnoxious waste. We ensure there is an audit trail associated to any waste we dispose of, regardless of the means including incineration.

      • Waste is ALWAYS disposed of following strict guidelines and quality assurance practices.

  • Follow-Up

We will provide you with an invoice upon completion which not only serves as a means of accessing payment links, but also as confirmation of work completion.

    Payment

We provide an invoice via email, including a breakdown of the services provided, and the cost (including VAT). This can be paid straight from the invoice, through PayPal (Debit/Credit Card, PayPal Wallet, etc) or GoCardless (Direct Debit). We can accept payment in-person by card. You can also pay us via the bank details provided within the invoice.

We request payment is made within 7 calendar days of the date of the invoice or 30 calendar days for approved commercial partners payment terms. We understand that individual circumstances may mean you need additional flexibility (e.g. estate in probate with no funds released, claiming through insurance), so are happy to discuss this.
